About Us
Zo Baptist Church is a warm, welcoming community located in Adelaide, South Australia. We primarily serve the Zo speaking community and conduct our services in the Zo Language. However, our doors are open to all who wish to explore and deepen their understanding of Christianity.
The word ‘Zo’ refers to a unique ethnic group, also known as the ‘Zo people’ or ‘Zo Chin’, who originate from Chin State in Myanmar (Burma). Our church embraces and celebrates this rich cultural heritage, while focusing on growing our faith, studying the Bible, and living out the teachings of Jesus Christ.
At Zo Baptist Church, we believe in creating a loving and inclusive environment where everyone feels at home. Whether you are just beginning to explore Christianity or are looking to deepen your relationship with God, we are here to support you on your spiritual journey.
Our services are primarily conducted in the Zo language, ensuring that the message of God's Word is communicated in the heart language of our community. However, we warmly welcome everyone, whether you are fluent in Zo or simply interested in experiencing a unique worship style deeply rooted in the Zo people's cultural and linguistic traditions.
